On November 22, 2023, the Trademark Agency Service Capability Evaluation Ranking press conference, organized by the China Trademark Association and jointly released by China Trademark magazine and IPHouse, was held in Beijing. For the first time, the "China Trademark Agency Top 600" list was published.

As of the end of June 2023, there were over 23,000 trademark agencies registered with the Trademark Office of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). This ranking utilized official data and, through thorough research and multiple rounds of verification, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of registered trademark agencies based on factors such as trademark application volume, number and success rate of opposition cases, number and success rate of review cases, establishment time, number of registered agents, quality of clients, and administrative penalties.

A total of 600 trademark agencies were rated as 5A, 4A, and 3A service providers. The publication of this ranking plays a significant role in further standardizing the trademark agency industry and promoting its sustainable and healthy development. Notably, this Top 600 list was published for the first time this year and will be released annually going forward.
