On April 24, the spring hiking themed “Action for Green and Health, Intellectual Property with ‘I Zhiliao’ ” was successfully held with the upcoming World Intellectual Property Day 2015. The hiking was hosted by the board of management of Future Science City and sponsored by Uni-intel.

Over 650 researchers positively took part in the activity, including experts from “Thousand Talents Program” and leaders from R&D institutions of nine central enterprises like State Grid, CHNG, Guodian, Shenhua etc.

The walking distance was about 8 kilometers with both the starting point and destination at east road bridge of Future Science City, and through the beautiful Wenyu river, Riparian Wetland Park and buildings of scientific research institutions of central enterprises like State Grid, CHNG, Guodian, Shenhua etc. The route encircled north area of Future Science City with over two- hour walking distance.

Officials of the board of management of Future Science City said, the long distance walking was a cultural fitness activity which integrated the advocacy for green, low-carbon and healthy lifestyle with publicizing IP.

It is said that among 15 central enterprises which planned to settle in Future Science City, nine central enterprises including Shenhua, COMAC, Guodian have been operating; and that building construction of ANSTEEL, China Telecom, CEC and CSGC is nearly completed.
